Fashion Camp - Teen Beginners with Tabitha Fielteau
June 12-16, 2017
Monday - Friday, 9am-12pm
Do you love fashion?! Have you ever wanted to learn how to sew?! Then you may be interested in our week long, super fun intensive fashion camp. This camp is all about fashion and we really want inspire each student’s creativity. You will create a moodboard, learn basic sewing, reconstruct an item of clothing, sew and construct a new item of clothing from scratch, and model your finished pieces at the end of camp. Parents are invited to come to our finale runway show that the students will put together on Friday 11am-12pm at COMMUNITY.
Students will be taught by a local fashion designer who was a Project Runway Semi-finalist who loves fashion and enjoys teaching and inspiring others.
This class will require each student to bring a basic sewing kit (we will send an email with details for supplies), a pair of jeans you wouldn’t mind reconstructing or revamping, and a working sewing machine with zig-zag capabilities.
The total price for the course $158 (Our online store format does not allow us to turn off sales tax for individual listings, so we have to take off the automatically added tax for the listing price). Fabric is included in the price of the course. Students will need to bring their own sewing machines.
Please read the full description and confirm the dates before signing up for the course. In the event that you must cancel, we accept cancellations up to one week before the start date of the class and you will receive 70% of the price of the course. After this time, you forfeit the cost of the class.
Once payment is accepted, you will receive an email with further instructions from our teacher before the beginning of the course. The email will be sent to the address associated with your PayPal account.
