In this 3-hour workshop you will learn to make a basic shirt or dress sloper from start to finish from your measurements, understanding darts placements, and leave with a pattern that's ready to sew - all in a one day! We will not sew the actual pattern, so no sewing machine or tools will be required. We will however go over trouble shooting and ways to alter the pattern to create new designs.
Before taking this class, you should have understanding of how to sew and/or have sewn clothing from a commercial pattern.
Supplies are not included in the price of the course. You are responsible for bringing your own and supplies. We will email you a supply list after sign-up.

In the event that you must cancel, we accept cancellations up to one week before the start date of the class and you will receive a refund of 70% of the price of the course. After this time, you forfeit the cost of the class.

Fashion designer Tabitha is a native to Athens, GA. She launched her clothing line entitled Tabitha Fielteau in Spring 2014. She is a self-taught womenswear designer who enjoys creating each garment - from sketching and pattern making to sewing and construction. She studied at Georgia State University and soon after began her family, which lead her to continue her dreams of becoming a fashion designer with much support from her husband.
Tabitha has always wanted to create clothing for a modern woman who loves fashion with sophistication. The brand can be described in three words Chic.Smart.Sophisticated., which is portrayed in each design. The importance of the brand will always be to remain socially and economically conscious in regards to labor and sustainability. Every design is produced in Tabitha Fielteau's in-home studio and as her brand grows she hopes to grow her work space and design team.
