Have you ever purchased a garment and it doesn't fit right? Do you love thrifting, but wish you could alter your finds to make them truly fit your style? Then you should join us in our 3-hour Garment Redesign workshop! In this workshop, you will have the ability to bring in garments that have been causing you trouble and you want to transform into something new.
This class is best suited for those with basic machine sewing experience. You will receive a supply list prior to the beginning of class.
The total price for the course $55 (Our online store format does not allow us to turn off sales tax for individual listings, so we have to take off the automatically added tax for the listing price). Also, supplies are not included in the price of the course. You are responsible for bringing your own sewing machine and supplies. Please make sure your sewing machine is in working order, since we do not have machines for rent.
Please read the full description and confirm the dates before signing up for the course. In the event that you must cancel, we accept cancellations up to one week before the start date of the class and you will receive 70% of the price of the course. After this time, you forfeit the cost of the class.
Once payment is accepted, you will receive an email with further instructions from our teacher before the beginning of the course. The email will be sent to the address associated with your PayPal account.
Our Instructor: Brittani Bumb
Meet Brittani! She absolutely loves everything about nature- if she could live entirely outside, she probably would. Ever since she was young, clothing seemed to be an outlet for expressing her personality, and when she learned how to sew, nothing could slow her roll. To her, clothing represents a form of freedom and expression and confidence, all of which Brittani wants other women to feel when they wear her clothing. After earning her BFA in Fashion Design at SCAD, Brittani left for NYC to pursue her dreams in the fashion world. However, it wan't until she spent a week in Costa Rica learning from the native artisans that she discovered that she really wanted her fashion to take an eco-friendly turn. Now, Brittani designs for her own labels, Untitled Thoughts & Untitled Tots, and puts as many eco-friendly practices in place as possible.
